We are happy to work with freelancers and we do our best to allow contractors creative and scheduling freedom when possible. Animator
Animators are responsible for creating animation frames for our projects. 2D, frame-by-frame experience is preferred. Some experience in 3D would be an asset. We currently use Clip Studio Paint in-house, but any animation software proficiency will be considered. Please send a resume plus examples of your work to hello@volatileanimation.com
Compositor/Editor
Compositors are responsible for combining animation frames with background elements, adding effects and corrections as needed. The end result should have all elements well-blended and looking as if they belong together. Light video/sound editing will also be required. Background Painter
Background painters create and render backgrounds as needed for compositing. A strong understanding of perspective and rendering techniques is required. The background painter may use any software they are comfortable with to create backgrounds, but they must be of sufficiently high resolution and quality. Storyboard Artist
